Welcome to Fly Fish Ontario. We aim to show just how amazing fly fishing in Canada and particularly fly fishing in Ontario can be. Visiting a large number of lakes and streams, we'll bring you stories of success and defeat. Although we wont give the exact locations of our special fly fishing holes, we'll arm you with every bit of knowledge you'll need to make your fly fishing adventures in Ontario and Canada a success.

This is designed to be a play day to give people plenty of time to try out various rods,If you are thinking about making the jump into your first spey rod this is a great chance to find out what style of rod might best suit you.
Presently we will have rods and ProStaff from Snowbee,Guideline,Sage and Redington.Hoping to make a few additions to the list before the event.The ProStaff are available to answer any questions and offer help with casting as well so please take advantage of them.
Steelhead will be in the river at this time so fell free to bring your gear along and get in some fishing if you like.

FLY FISHING PHOTO CONTEST
Get your cameras ready folks. This year will mark our first Ontario Fly Fishing photo contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best fish, and the best scenery photos. So far, prizes consist of a box of flies for each category, tied by the friendly folks here at flyfishontario.ca. More prizes will be added as the season progresses.
To enter, send us your photos with your name and address. Please include the general location of your photo. More details to come soon!
